Google Ads Script: Pmax Assets & Groups Performance Tracker

Read-only	Google Sheet is created
No changes are made in Google Ads, the Merchant Center or Google Analytics.	A spreadsheet file is created or edited in your Google Drive that only you have access to.

 Performance Max KPIs per asset group at a glance

The script creates a Google Spreadsheet for each Google Ads account with the chart and table for the KPIs of all Performance Max asset groups. Optionally, an email with the link to the Google Sheet is sent to you.

The campaign and the asset group can be selected via the two selection boxes. The diagram always shows the activated KPIs of the selected asset group.

This script sends very simple mails with links to the Google Ads account, to the generated spreadsheet and to the config sheet, where you can set the configuration parameters listed below.

Of course, a link to the actual programmer of the script must not be missing:-)

Explanation of the script configuration

Column 9 defines the default settings, which are used for all subsequent lines unless they are explicitly overwritten.
The script is therefore always executed by default on Tuesdays at 5, 6, 7 and 8 o'clock and a mail is sent as shown above. (Note: The script is usually only executed at 5 o'clock. But even Google sometimes has technical problems. If the execution fails at 5 o'clock, the script is restarted at 6 o'clock).
Example Ltd. would like to have the data in the sheet updated daily, but only receive an e-mail every Tuesday. Therefore, there are two separate configuration lines for the sheet update with and without e-mail dispatch.
The script is executed with the settings in line 11 on Tuesdays to Sundays and with the settings in line 12 on Mondays.
The company “Demo RoW” does not want to use this script, which is why #execute was set to FALSE.

Tip: If you enter mo for #days, for example, the script is always executed on Mondays and an email with a link to the sheet is optionally sent.
